I been a patient of Atwood Vision in Johnston RI which was purchased by Koch Eye Associates for 45+ years. I recently had an eye infection and was called back by Dr. Lewis who is always great to work with. My problem is with Koch operations. I tried to call today to make an appt and had 20 callers on hold in front of me. I waited on hold only to get a call center who didnt really know what to do and transferred me to the Johnston office where he confirmed Dr. Lewis worked at. I spoke to the Johnston office who informed me Dr. Lewis now works in Warwick and transferred me to you guessed it, 17 callers ahead of me. I tried desperately to find a direct number to the office so that i can ask if i should come in for a follow up or wait until my eye is better to schedule my yearly but was unable to get in touch with anyone other than a useless call center. Im not sure who is managing the operations of Koch but you have made what was once a pleasurable, personal experience seem like im calling India and that my business, money and overall my health doesnt matter.
