Let's start at the beginning. After calling both Warwick offices several times over the course of 2 weeks, with no answer ever at either location, including leaving voicemails at both locations, I finally decided to just drive there to make an appointment in person. The unfriendly woman at the front desk took my drivers license and insurance card to copy my information into the system. She gave me an appointment for the next day. I showed up the next day a few minutes before my appointment time, and asked if the doctor was running on time. She said, yes, I haven't heard otherwise. 20 minutes later I went up to her again, and I said, I specifically asked you if the doctor is running on time, and you said yes, but my appointment was 20 minutes ago. The receptionist sitting next to her said, is she seeing Dr. Furman? I said yes, she said oh, he's running 30 minutes behind, they told us that a while ago. Great. This is an issue because I have a ride coming to pick me up, and I haven't event been seen yet. She asks me if I'd like to reschedule. I say no, it took me 2 weeks to get this appointment, so I'm not starting that process all over again. I'll wait. Then they call Laurie. I say Laura? No, Laurie. There's no one else here. I said, it must be me, Laura. She says oh, they must have wrote your name down wrong. I'm like, how do you write my name down wrong when you literally copy it off of my license and insurance?! Now this is an issue with the insurance billing. Finally I go in for my appointment, which takes about 45 minutes, and that's with skipping the dilation step, because I just don't have time for that at this point. Dr. Furman is going between two patients- me and someone in a room next door, bouncing between the two of us, extending the wait time even more. My blood is boiling, and I mention that I will never come to this office ever again. Never have I seen such incompetence and disorganization in my life. Not only that, but they messed up another patients appointment at the same time as mine. She was complaining to yet another receptionist, and that receptionist, an older woman, YELLED at the patient. Just unbelievable. Never again!
